Clovenhoof by Heide Goody & Iain Grant

Charged with gross incompetence, Satan is fired from his job as Prince of Hell and exiled to that most terrible of places: English suburbia. Forced to live as a human under the name of Jeremy Clovenhoof, the dark lord not only has to contend with the fact that no one recognises him or gives him the credit he deserves but also has to put up with the bookish wargamer next door and the voracious man-eater upstairs. Heaven, Hell and the city of Birmingham collide in a story that features murder, heavy Read more […]

The Eloquent Page hijacks The Speculative Scotsman
News / March 29, 2012

I’m constantly surprised that people, other than me, actually read my ramblings here at The Eloquent Page.  I often potter around my little internet home blissfully forgetful of all the other fantastic book review sites out there in the ether*.   That’s why it came as the most pleasant of surprises when Niall from The Speculative Scotsman got in touch and asked if I would be interested in providing a guest post while he was away on holiday. Words can’t express how happy I felt, my 1st ever guest Read more […]

An Avalanche of Anarchy Books News
Anarchy Books , Andy Remic , News / March 21, 2012

Since January things have been mysteriously quiet, some would say suspiciously so, on the Anarchy Books front. Turns out I was wrong…   PRESS RELEASE April 6th, Good Friday, is also Good Anarchy Books Day! We’re releasing not 1 – not 2, but 7 (YES SEVEN!) new novels, and for a limited period we’re Read more […]

2012 Preview

According to the Mayan calendar we only have until 21st December 2012 until the world ends. I could have easily included many, many more novels on this list but these are the baker’s dozen that I am currently very excited about. I have included cover images wherever I have been able to find them, click on the thumbnails Read more […]
